I have been in recovery for 12 years. Im a born again spirit filled believer in Jesus Christ. After years of pain and fatigue associated with fibromyalgia, and refusing to take pain pills, I started researching cbd and marijuana. I was skeptical because of being in recovery and growing up in an era that leaves a heavy stigma on cannabis. But I was desperate for relief. I prayed. I waited. I researched more. Than I took the dive to get my medical card in a time when medical qualifications from my doctor were necessary to obtain a medical card. The relief from pain and quality of life I have gotten back are such a blessing. It has not brought me away from God or dulled my senses to his presence. Sometimes I truly believe it makes me more attune to hear him. Hope this helps someone, there’s a long way to go to remove the stigma.
