A few months ago in this space I shared how I experimented with cannabis in my early 20s and, after a bad experience, decided to abstain. That was just before my interstitial cystitis and abdominal inflammation diagnosis. On a recent trip to California, I visited a MedMen dispensary and purchased some high-CBD vapes, indica-dominant strains, and gummies. I was shocked at the pain relief I experienced. I thought I had years of NSAIDs and gapabentin to look forward to, however, I’m so glad (motivated in part by what I’ve read here + your podcast) that I’ve found another option to reduce my pain.
