I became an alcoholic at age 21. By age 26 I attended my first AA meeting, and that same year I became a smoker. For 27 years I tried to get sober using AA to NO avail (another story on my opinion of the emotional abuses of AA the cult). I also picked up gambling later in life, so with three major addictions I was in so much bondage I was merely among the walking dead.

My state legalized cannabis in 2014, and to make a very long story short, I started using cannabis on a regular basis strictly for medical purposes to find:

I stopped drinking entirely (what? after nearly 30 years of failed AA attempts @ sobriety (those AAers LOVE to inflict shame on all those who struggle with relapse).

I stopped smoking nicotine, and then also stopped smoking cannabis. I only use edibles now which for me allows a mild pain reliever that has kept me off ALL pharmaceutical meds. I suffer from very painful fibromyalgia, and would recommend cannabis to anyone with the same medical condition.

I stopped gambling for good.

I lost 50 lbs since I can exercise now with the pain relief cannabis brings me.

I’ve completely changed my diet to eliminate most processed foods.

My mind is sharper; I’m healthier and closer to Jesus Christ than ever.

To the judgmental Pharisees, I’m glad I’m not you. Your misery looks painful. To those who are justifying getting high for recreational purposes I need to inform you, God made this plant for medicine. Please don’t ruin its benefits by using it in ways not intended.

I am a born again Christian; A devout follower of Jesus Christ, and using medical marijuana changed the entire direction of my life. I am a mid aged lady that thanks God for cannabis.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
