I come to you as a humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ: the King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Present yourself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto Him. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Jesus would say....I am the way, the truth and the Life, noone comes unto the Father but my me. No, no mind altering drug compares to me, its fleshly and devilish. Galatians 5:19-21 says:

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The word witchcraft in verse 19 is the greek word pharmakeia which means medication or pharmacy. The greek word pharmakeia is derived from the greek word pharmakeus which means a drug or spell giving potion. Notice there are many medications that do help individuals, but many, even FDA approved medications cause addictions as witnessed by the opioid epidemic and destroy lives and families. Not to mention the illegal illicit drugs which come from plants. I am a healthcare provider and have personally seen marijuana cause many problems such as cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, not to mention studies showing increased Risk of mental illness, depression and Suicidality from marijuana use. This verse is saying that taking drugs that alter your mind, or cause you to become addicted to them or relying on them because they make you feel good are a work of the flesh.

Only good and perfect things come from Jesus. If marijuana is good and perfect, why is it causing people who use it to suffer medical and emotional issues. Its not from Jesus. Satan comes to steal from you, in order to kill and ultimately destroy you.

We are to walk in the spirit, not the flesh. This means, i am a hearer and doer of the word of God. It means if i walk in the spirit, i only do what the Word of God or bible tells me to do, despite what my physical senses tell me. I put the Word of God first place in my life and never
Listen to my flesh. We are not to follow after our fleshly desires. The bible tells us to crucify our flesh.

What am i supposed to do if i am using marijuana as a Christian. go to Jesus, ask for forgiveness according to 1 John 1:9 which says...
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This means i Say Jesus, i admit i was wrong, i chose to use marijuana and i see in your Word where i am not supposed to. From now on, i choose you Jesus, i dont know how i am going to quit or what to do to stop, but i thank you for helping me and leading me into victory. Right now i humble myself before you and cast all my cares, worries, anxieties and all my problems on you, cuz you care for me. Now i choose to get into your Word by opening up the bible and reading it every day, and i thank you Holy Spirit for revealing your powerful word unto me. The last part of that verse says “and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”, this means that when you repent, he will even cleanse you from all the sins you didn’t know you even committed. Wow, what a God of love and compassion. If you draw near unto Him, he will draw near unto you! What do you get when God takes away all your unrighteousness? You are then righteous, the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

When God created earth in the time of the garden of eden. He did not create marijuana and it doesn’t say anywhere in genesis where adam and eve smoked a joint or a bong to get closer to God. No, God came down and communed with them. Once Adam and Eve listened to the lies of the devil and disobeyed God, they died spiritually and were separated from God. [Then the God of love created the covenant which paved the road to Jesus who got rid of the separation between God and man by shedding his blood, dying for you and raising from the dead to bring you salvation if you believe what he did for you Romans 10:9-10]. Did you notice when the curse came to adam and eve that it mentions thorns then started growing in the earth.....well i guarantee you that many kinds of cursed vegetation grew after the fall of man and marijuana was just one of them.

Regarding sickness and disease, Jesus bore your sicknesses and diseases. You don't need to look to marijuana for healing, look to Jesus your healer. Isaiah 53:4-5 says:

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs( hebrew word here is sickness) and carried our sorrows (hebrew word here is pain): yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Notice Isaiah is looking into the future, to what Jesus did on the cross and how Jesus healed us there.

Matthew 8:17
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias ( Isaiah) the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

1 Peter 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Notice how Peter is looking back to the cross and telling us that we were (past tense) healed when Jesus took the stripes for us. This means that you were healed 2000 years ago. Lift up your hands to Jesus and begin to thank and praise him for healing all your sicknesses and all your diseases. Yes, its his will to heal you. No he is not teaching you anything by being sick. He only uses his Word to correct us, not sickness and disease. He is a good God, a loving God. He is the God that healeth you! Jesus is not a respector of persons, what he did for one, he will do for all who come unto Him.

I just wanna pray that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened, and that you would come to know who Jesus is as you open up the bible and feed on him. Don't give up, you get hungry on what you feed on, so keep the Word of God ever before your eyes. Feed on it. Think about it, ponder it, meditate in it and it will bring you life and freedom and you will make your way prosperous. There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). That word condemnation means judgement made in the past that can never be made again. You see, your free, your made righteous, get in the word and find out how free you are in Christ. No longer allow the enemy to attack you and keep you down, your victorious in Christ. Romans 8:6 says: For to be carnally (fleshly) minded is death: but to be spiritually minded ( keeping mind on Word if God) is life ( greek zoe, the life that God has) and peace.
