I’m torn as I try to draw into a closer relationship with my Lord

A former high school classmate of mine has written a book on MJ. He claims that it's tied to witchcraft, he references scripture and the Greek work ”pharmakia.” When I have witnessed how MJ helps on so many levels, I struggle with this. I don't see MJ as a drug. This gentleman spent 20 years in prison, why, I’m not sure. I suspect it was drug related. He’s now on fire for the Lord. He recently published a book, ”Marijuana Heaven or Hell.” It’s available on Amazon. I haven't ordered it. I am interested in what he has to say but I’m not sure how I’ll respond. Craig, what is your take on the word ”pharmakia?”
