I retired from the Navy in early 2018 after 21 years and was diagnosed with PTSD/Anxiety and had two hips needing surgery. I could have easily had the VA pump me full of prescription pills, but I believe God has given us cannabis as a natural means to combat so many of the ailments that life throws at us. I now use medical cannabis almost exclusively for all of my ailments, and I have been able to tackle the mental issues at an amazing pace and it has been a live saver when I have pain in my hips due to my degenerative arthritis. I currently attend a church and feel I need to share the medicinal benefits of cannabis to my church family and cast off this stigma, but don’t know how to approach the issue or what the backlash will be.
