There are plants that are poisonous to humans and animals. It would be foolish to consume them or come in contact with them. I did read a Christian article that equated sorcery with drugs. It was years ago and unfortunately I can’t remember the Scripture. I was taught as a young Christian that when you don’t have control of your mind as with drunkenness or drug use, you open yourself up to attacks of the enemy, that is Satan or demons.
